No. It maps an INDICATIVE General-category JEE Main rank tier to NIRF-ranked institutes that have historically admitted students in that tier for most branches. It is not a JoSAA simulator and does not factor in branch, category, gender supernumerary, home-state quota, or counseling round. Always cross-reference official cutoffs.

This tool only lists institutes that appear in NIRF Engineering 2024 ranking (top 100) AND have programmatic placement data on PlacementPilot. Many strong private/deemed universities and state-government colleges outside the NIRF top 100 are not listed yet. We add coverage continuously.

IITs admit through JEE Advanced, not JEE Main. The tier mapping above shows which NIRF-ranked IITs are reachable at each JEE Main rank tier (since you need a JEE Main rank to be eligible to write JEE Advanced), but the actual IIT admission cutoff is on the JEE Advanced rank. A separate JEE Advanced tool is planned.

Median package, placement %, and top recruiters come from NIRF 2024 disclosures and cross-referenced public placement reports. NIRF is the most authoritative public dataset for Indian engineering placements. Treat numbers as institute-aggregate (not branch-level) and refresh annually when NIRF publishes new data.
